The first prototype of the Mobile Suit (MS) Project, this proved that mobile suits can be build. This machine’s weapons, easy to handle cockpit systems and capabilities make it an very good mobile suit for

Frontline duty even though it’s a prototype. Some were for battle exercises while others were to test the other prototypes, mainly the Gundam. LT. Amuro Ray was the pilot of the Zaku Prototype and continued to be when the Willgem was pursuing the stolen Zaku IIs. After the battle with the new Zaku F2s, the Zaku Prototype was heavily damaged and Amuro upgraded to the RX-78-3 Gundam "G-3", for the remainder of the war.

This Mobile Suit is a mass-produced version of the Zaku Prototype. It’s basically the same except for the green color scheme. 55+ Zaku IIs were stolen by the Revolutionarys and they became a huge threat to the U.S. Military and other allies, the nation that built them in the first place. The Revolutionarys’ used these M.S. mainly on the front, which hurt the U.S. forces, but mostly on attacking the Willgem to capture or destroy the Gundam. When Garma Zabi attacked the Willgem in France, he was killed and all the Zaku IIs were completely destroyed. That wouldn’t be a problem. While the Zaku IIs were in use, the Revolutionarys experimented on the M.S. technology and created their own upgraded Zaku mobile suits; ZMS-01F2 Zaku II F2, an upgraded to the standard Zaku II.

The third prototype of the Mobile Suit Project (MS Project), this mobile suit was the powerful MS built at the time. Equipped with beam weapons energized by neutron charges, it is a highly maneuverable, multi-class mobile suit capable of hand-to-hand combat. It’s newly made powerful armor called neo-titanium, beam rifle that could destroy a mobile suit with one shot or a huge plane with a few shots, two beam sabers that slices up any known material, and great speed make it a threatening, deadly mobile suit to the enemy.

The Gundam was a success during the stolen Zaku threat when it was assigned to Head Engineer of the MS Project Nate Ruff. It was later assigned to frontline duty to be used mainly in the war’s conflict when the Revolutionarys started to build their own mobile suits, starting with the Zaku II F2. When it was sent with the Willgem ship to the naval fleet, the Gundam and its other versions (testing prototypes, pre-production units) were given a new model number, and this Gundam design was given an "RX-78" model number. Any Gundam-type mobile suit based on this prototype would use the RX-78 model number. After Nate upgraded to the new RX-78-2 Gundam, Relena Darlian took the RX-78 Gundam in his place.

Relena used the RX-78 in several battles; most of them involved Nate as she tried to protect him and one battle where Nate was going insane after the news that his family was killed. In one battle, the side of the RX-78’s cockpit was damaged and as a Zaku F2 pilot got Relena out on orders with Zechs Merquize, the RX-78 Gundam exploded from its damaged reactor connecters. Later, after Nate who deserted the Willgem with his RX-78-2 and came back with Relena who was till alive, engineers of the Willgem and Matilda’s Midea Forces repaired the RX-78 for Operation Takedown. In that battle, Nate and Relena faced tough fights but when the battle was coming to a close Relena’s RX-78 was damaged when a Zaku destroyed the balancing system, head and left arm. As they fled, Nate took Relena and destroyed the RX-78 as Zaku forces went to it. Even when new mobile suits were created and were reasons why the war with the Revolutionarys and OZ ended in the allies favor, the RX-78 Gundam became the legendary mobile suit of that war even with its first pilot and creator Nate Ruff or as he’s now known as Heero Yuy.

THIS MOBILE SUIT WAS BUILT IN LIMITED-PRODUCTION TO BE USED BY PILOTS TO REPLACE THE STOLEN ZAKU II UNITS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WAR. EVEN THOUGH IT’S BASED ON THE MSP-X03/RX-78 GUNDAM PROTOTYPE, IT’S HAS BEEN DOWNGRADED FROM THE EQUIPMENT THAT MADED THE GUNDAM POWERFUL THAN THE ZAKUS DUE TO PRODUCTION COSTS. THE THRUSTER OUTPUT HAS BEEN DECREASE, AND MORE ARMOR HAD BEEN ADDED TO THIS AND HAS MADE IT MORE SLOWER THAN FASTER. THE EXTRA NEO-TITANIUM ARMOR WAS ADDED SO IT WOULD PROTECT THE MS IN COMBAT WHILE THE PILOT WAS FINDING OUT HOW TO USE THE CONTROLS. THESE WOULD BE HELPFUL TO GIVE THE ALLIES THE UPPER HAND ON THE FRONTLINES.

THIS GROUND VERSION OF THE PROTOTYPE GUNDAM SERVED IN SO MANY BATTLES, EVEN "OPERATION TAKE DOWN". WHICH WAS THE OPERATION TO DESTROY THE REVOLUIONARY’S MAIN TIBETIAN BASE TO END THE WAR COMPLETELY. WHICH SUCESSED IN DESTROYED THE REVOLUTIONARYS, BUT FAILED WHEN OZ CAME AND TOOK OVER TO CONTINUE THE WAR. THE RX-79(G) GUNDAM WOULD BE USED FOR THE FINAL BATTLE, "OPERATION ENDGAME". ALL THAT BATTLE THAT ENDED THE WAR FOR GOOD, THE LAST OF THE GROUND GUNDAMS WERE TURNED TO SCRAPPED BECAUSE IT WAS BELIEVED THAT THEY WERE OUTDATED.

Dimensions: head height 17.5 meters

Weight: empty 50.3 metric tons; max gross 65.0 metric tons

Construction: super-high tensile steel on monocoque frame

Powerplant: Nuclear ultracompact fusion reactor, output rated at 899 kW

Propulsion: rocket thrusters: 2 x 19500 kg, 2 x 850 kg

Performance: maximum thruster acceleration 0.63 G; 180-degree turn time 2.9 seconds; maximum ground running speed 65 km/h

Equipment and design features: sensors, range 2900 meters

Fixed armaments: none

Optional hand armaments: 105 mm machinegun, drum-fed, 100 rounds per drum, spare drums can be stored on waist armor racks; 280 mm Zaku bazooka, 4 round magazine, can be stored on rack on rear waist armor; heat hawk, battery powered, can be stored on waist armor racks;

DURING THE MS PROJECT, FIVE MSP-X01 ZAKUS WERE BUILT JUST IN

CASE SOMETHING HAPPENED TO ONE OF THEM. AFTER THE REVOLUTIONARYS’ SNEAK ATTACK, ONE MSP-X01 USED BY LT. AMURO RAY WAS BELIEVED TO BE THE SURVIVING UNIT FROM THE BATTLE AND WAS SENT TO BE PART OF THE MOBILE SUIT CARRIER “WILLGEM”. WHEN THE TORRINGTON BASE WAS BEING REBUILT, WORKERS FOUND ONE X01 MOBILE SUIT. IT COULD STILL WORK HOWEVER IT WAS 69% DAMAGED. THAT UNIT WAS WENT TO ONE OF THE COMPANIES MAKING THE RX-79(G) GROUND GUNDAM UNIT TO BE REBUILT FOR THE PURPOSE OF GOING BACK TO THE ZAKU DESIGN AND IMPROVING IT WITH DESIGN FEATURES FROM THE GUNDAM. BUT AFTER SO MANY TESTS, IT WAS DECIDED THAT GUNDAM-TYPE MOBILE SUITS WOULD BE THE MAIN PART OF THEIR MS FORCES THAN ZAKU-TYPE UNITS SO THE TESTBED WAS CANCELLED. IN ORDER TO CHANGE THEIR MINDS, THE HEAD ENGINEER OF THE PROJECT GAVE THE NOW-NAMED ZX-03 BOJARNON TO THE WILLGEM FOR COMBAT DATA REQUIRED FROM HEERO YUY, THE MSP-X03 GUNDAM’S PILOT. HOWVER IN A BIG BATTLE, RELENA DARLIAN, HEERO’S FRIEND, USED THIS MOBILE SUIT TO SAVE HEERO’S LIFE. AFTER THAT, THIS MOBILE SUIT WAS ASSIGNED TO RELENA DARLIAN AND AT THE SAME TIME THE BOJARNON PROJECT WAS CANCELLED FOR GOOD.

NAMED AFTER THE HEAD ENGINEER, THE ZX-03 BOJARNON WAS SIMILAR TO ALL THE ZAKU UNITS EXCEPT WITH ITS VERY DIFFERENT DESIGN CONCEPT. BUILT WITH LIGHTER ARMOR, BLACK COLOR SCHEME AND A REDESIGNED BODY AND SAME WEAPONS SEEN IN THE ZAKUS, THE BOJORNON WAS NOT FASTER THAN THE OTHER ZAKUS NOR THE GUNDAM. RELENA DARLIAN PROVED TO BE THE FITTED PILOT FOR THE BOJORNON FOR JUST TWO FIGHTS. WHEN THE REVOLUTIONARYS ATTACKED THE WILLGEM WITH THEIR NEW ZAKU F2S, ZECHS, WHO WAS CAPTURED, ESCAPED BY TAKING THE BOJARNON. AFTER GOING TO THE NAVAL FLEET, RELENA UPGRADED TO THE RX-78 GUNDAM WHEN HEERO UPGRADED TO THE RX-78-2 GUNDAM.

IT’S UNKNOWN WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BOJARNON. BUT SINCE THE REVOLUTIONARYS HAD THE MUCH POWERFUL ZAKU F2 UNITS, ITS PRETTY SURE THAT THE BOJARNON WAS DESTROYED.

Optional fixed armaments: 2 x 3-tube missile pod, mounted on legs

Optional hand armaments: MMP-78 120 mm machinegun, drum-fed, 100 rounds per drum, spare drums can be stored on waist armor storage racks; MMP-80 90 mm machinegun, clip-fed, 32 rounds per clip, spare clips can be stored on waist armor storage racks; 280 mm Zaku bazooka, cartridge-fed, 4 rounds per cartridge, spare cartridges can be stored on waist armor storage racks; heat hawk, battery powered, can be stored on hip armor storage racks; sturm faust, rocket-propelled warhead, can be stored on waist armor storage racks

WHEN IT WAS LEARNED THAT THE ZAKU IIS THE REVOLUTIONARYS STOLEN WERE DECREASING BY THE MINUTE, THE REVOLUTIONARYS TOOK THE ZAKU DATA AND STARTED TO BUILD THEY’RE OWN MOBILE SUITS. THE ZAKU F2 WAS BUILT TO REPLACE THE DECREASING ZAKU II.

THE ZAKU F2 IS AN UPGRADED VERSION OF THE ZAKU II WITH IMPROVED THRUSTERS SO THE BEAMS FROM THE GUNDAM’S RIFLE CAN’T TAKE IT OUT EASILY AND MORE ARMOR FOR MORE PROTECTION. THE ZAKU F2 PROVED A MATCH FOR THE GUNDAM, BUT UNTIL THE GUNDAM’S COMPUTER RECORDED THE DATA OF THE ZAKU F2 FIGHT AND HEERO GOT BETTER AT THE ZAKU F2S IN THE SECOND FIGHT. THE REVOLUTIONARYS USED THESE M.S. UNTIL THEIR DESTRUCATION AFTER "OPERATION TAKE DOWN". OZ USED THESE MOBILE SUITS AS PART OF THEIR MAIN MS FORCES, ALONG SIDE THE GELGOOGS. ONE VARIANT OF THE ZAKU F2 WAS CREATED FOR LT. NOIN. IT HAD A WHITE COLOR SCHEME AND BOXES ON ITS HEAD AS A COMMANDER SIGN. SHE USED IT ONLY ONCE WHEN THE LAKE VICTORIA BASE WAS ATTACKED, THEN SHE SWITCHED TO THE GELGOOG MARINE.

Optional hand armaments: beam rifle, powered by rechargeable energy cap; 380 mm hyper bazooka, clip-fed, 5 rounds per clip plus 1 round in chamber; shield, can be optionally stored on backpack

During the Mobile Suit (MS) Project, the centerpiece of the project was the MSP-X03/RX-78 Gundam. Even though this mobile suit was designed with beam weapons, it was also designed to have a core block system to make the cockpit escape into a fighter called the FF-X7 Core Fighter for the pilot’s safety in case the Gundam was damaged and couldn’t return to base. The core block system was more hard to create than the beam weapons of the Gundam so it was decided that a group would build a test version of the Gundam to create the core block system in a secret location while the main MS team worked on the “X03” model. After the theft of the ZMS-01F Zaku II by the Revolutionarys, the MSP-X03 Gundam was assigned to pilot/creator Heero Yuy and was sent with the new warship the MSC-102 Willgem in pursuit of the stolen Zaku units. After all the units were destroyed, the Willgem went to the Naval Fleet at the Atlantic. There, the Gundam unit that was being tested with the Core Block System was finished and aboard one of the ships.

This Gundam was the RX-78-2 Gundam G-2 (or “Unit 2”). The G-2 was considered the final version of the Gundam model. In order for this system to work, the G-2 had to be redesigned for better performance. It’s redesigned Frame was so realistic to many that it would be used again for the RGM-79 GM production model. A new addition to this Gundam is the rechargeable e-cap on the beam rifle. The e-cap is design to recharge the beam energy so the pilot can use the rifle more in a fight. Other additions is the antennas on the beam sabers so if the pilot loses them, he can find where they are after his or her battle. Another two standard beam sabers stored in the shield, which is why the armor of the shield has been reinforced to take more damage unlike the other shield of the now designated RX-78 Gundam. Te final addition is improved versions of the beam rifle and the bazooka, and a scope for the bazooka.

Heero would pilot the Gundam G-2 in many battles including “Operation Take-Down”. However after that battle with the news of the collapse of the Revoulionarys and the rise of OZ, Heero would go on to pilot the real centerpiece of the MS Project, the RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1 “Alex” for the final battle of the war “Operation Endgame” and Relena Darlian, who was the new pilot of the RX-78 would pilot the G-2 in that battle. However after that, no one knows what happened to the RX-78-2 Gundam G-2. Everyone believes that the G-2 was turned to scrapped, but the real truth is that Relena, who was the leader of the World Nation, customized the G-2 for her use in case something happened to home again in the future.

When mobile suits became the top priority for the war between the United States and the Revolutionarys that now entered the year 2079, OZ, who was planning its rise into power, planned its own mobile suits. Their first mobile suit was the prototype called the Tallgeese. Unlike the Zaku II F2 that was highly operating at the time, this mobile suit was designed to look as noble as the people of OZ themselves. The Tallgeese’s armaments were a dober gun and a beam saber, which OZ develop after Gadem’s team sneaked into the Willgem and took a small portion of the Gundam’s technical data. Another thing of the Tallgeese is its huge size, which was 19.4 meters tall. Despite the fact it’s heavy armor was titanium, it relied on its huge thrusters on its back to move fast. The prototype was sent to be used by Zechs Merquize. Zechs would master it quick but had trouble against Heero’s new RX-78-2 Gundam.

After fighting the Willgem in a couple of fights, and after Zechs got his revenge, Zechs and Noin switch sides and went aboard the new MS carrier Argama and help his sister and Heero in “Operation Endgame”. There he fought with Treize’s OZ-00MS2 Tallgeese II and destroyed it but was severly damaged afterwards. After the war ended, the Tallgeese was turned to scrap.

Back in 2075, a small military development group devised a plan to build robotic weapons for the military ever since in the late 20th century. In a last gambit, the group decided to do a new design without the balancing system which still had some problems for all these years. The weapon was called the RX-75 Guntank, which was a tank with a humanoid torso, arms and head. After several tests, it failed due to slugged problems and couldn’t be used in combat. In 2079, it was revived using data from the MS Project’s mobile suit weapons and pre-production versions followed that same year. The biggest difference between the 2075 version and the 2079 version of the Guntank is mainly the core block system. After it was used in “Operation Take-Down”, the Guntank was taken out to make way for the new, true Mobile Suit army.

In 2077, two years after the Guntank, the engineers came with the second assaults unit, the RX-77 Guncannon. The Guncannon was suppose to be the Guntank with legs instead of wheels. Because of this idea, the balancing system went back to the testing grounds and it was improving, but not enough for the military. It was cancelled and all projects revolving robotic weapons were scrapped and the company went to produce basic military weapons like tanks and fighter jets. In 2079, the Guncannon was revived using data from the MS Project’s mobile suit weapons and pre-production versions followed that same year. The biggest difference between the 2077 version and the 2079 version of the Guncannon is the core block system and the beam rifle as its main armament instead of the shoulder cannons. After it was used in “Operation Take-Down”, the Guncannon was taken out to make way for the RGM-79 GM.

In 2079, the Revolutionarys stole the entire production units of the new Mobile Suit weapon; the ZMS-01F Zaku II. It was thought that this Mobile Suit technology would help the Revolutionarys win their with the U.S. Military and their allies. But there was one problem, there was a single mobile suit weapon that could destroy the Zaku with one shot and in a short time. That mobile suit was the MSP-X03/RX-78 Gundam. With repeated attempts to capture or destroy the Gundam, the Zaku II units were decreasing by each battle. It was decided to make a new mobile suit to rival the Gundam. The first mobile suit was an upgraded version of the Zaku II called the ZMS-01F2 Zaku II F2. However even though it gave the Gundam’s pilot a hard time battling the Zaku F2s, the Gundam’s learning computer and including the new RX-78-2 Gundam G-2 made the Zaku F2s to be destroyed like the Zaku IIs. The Process then continued.

The next mobile suit that was a complete success was the Gelgoog. The Gelgoog was considered the Gundam with a Zaku like design. The weapons included its own version of the beam rifle as well as a Twin Beam Sword that made the Gundam’s beam sabers into one double version. Oz took these these mobile suits and lied to the Revolutionarys that the Gelgoogs weren’t ready yet. OZ declared them their own mobile suits and gave them the model number OZ-104MS. After the Revolutionarys were destroyed after “Operation Take-Down”, OZ stepped in to continue the war. The Gelgoog’s first battle with the RX-79(G) Gundam Ground Types proved that these weapons would make OZ the war. In “Operation Endgame”, the Gelgoogs were used to attack the Allies’ MS Forces. However, these machines didn’t help to make OZ win the war. After the War ended, the Gelgoog’s data would help the RGM-79 GM but the mobile suits were destroyed. During the war, an ace pilot named Anavel Gato piloted a blue color version of the Gelgoog and it was destroyed when Gato fought Heero’s RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1 “Alex”.

This is a variant of the Gelgoog that OZ made on its own. It was designed for commanders and ace pilots. Unlike the standard model, the Marine type had many built in weapons as well as 2 beam sabers instead of the Twin Beam Sword and a Machine Gun instead of a beam rifle. However, the Marine type wasn’t built in full-scale production. So every available unit were stationed on top of OZ’ Peacemillion ship on route to New York to bombard the city with Nukes. It’s unknown what ever happened to them after the war.

Optional hand armaments: beam rifle, powered by rechargeable energy cap

In 2078, before the Mobile Suit “MS” Project got started, it was planned to have actually four mobile suits instead of three. The fourth unit was a Gundam that made the project two Zakus and two Gundams. Since the project would cost a lot of money for building and testing the first three prototypes, it was decided that the fourth one, which had a working model number of “MSP-X04”, would be cancelled and work would be only on the first three prototypes. It wouldn’t be until the theft of the ZMS-01F Zaku II units and the process of replacing them with new models based on the Gundam’s technology that the fourth prototype would be put back in construction.

The fourth model, that was named the RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1 “Alex”, was finally built in early 2079. It was given the nickname “Alex” so the Revolutionarys or OZ wouldn’t know that a new Gundam-type mobile suit was in the works. The NT-1 was designed to combine all the technology improvements from the MS Project with new technologies introduced in the fourth one. But after the introduction of so many mobile suits, it was redesigned to combine all the MS technologies from both sides by using battle data from the fights with enemy mobile suit weapons. One of the key features of the NT-1 was the Newtype system. This system was designed to examine the enemy’s mobile suit(s) and find either weakness of how to destroy a mobile suit or more or give the pilot the best advantages into defeating the enemy from seeing the entire battlefield. For more protection, a newly designed chobham armor was designed to protect the NT-1m from attacks all around. Another feature was the NT-1’s incredible speed. It’s upgraded thrusters made the NT-1 the very fastest mobile suit throughout the war, even riviling OZ’ OZ-00MS Tallgeese and OZ-

00MS2 Tallgeese II.

The Gundam NT-1 was completed after “Operation Take-Down”. It came just in time after OZ came in after the Revolutionarys were defeat and its systems would work to defeat OZ’ new mobile suits; OZ-104MS Gelgoog. It was assigned to RX-78 Gundam, RX-78-2 Gundam G-2 pilot and MS Project head engineer Heero Yuy. He only used the NT-1 for one battle and “Operation Endgame”. The chobham armor was only used once and even though it was destroyed in one battle, it proved very powerful when it was hit from so many shell-firing cannons and beam cannons from both Mobile suits and ships. The Nt-1 also fought Anavel Gato’s customized Gelgoog and suffered some damage. Heero would used the Nt-1 in a vain attempt to stop OZ’ Peacemillion from launching nukes into New York. It succeed but the explosion from the Peacemillion rocked the NT-1 that forced it to fall from the air and the cockpit to eject to save the pilot. As a result, Heero became brain damaged and the Newtype was destroyed that prevented anyone from using it in future mobile suit models. The Gundam Nt-1 became known as only mobile suit that helped ending the war. After it was recovered, it had to be turned to scrap because it was corrupted beyond repair and it was contaminated with radiation.

RX-78-4 Gundam G04

This Gundam was actually a testbed to test several MS technologies to come up with a production model mobile suit which would be the RGM-79 GM. The G04 was used as a testbed for the RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1 for testing its speed, liner seat and above all the Newtype system. It was used by Christina Mackenzie who would show Heero Yuy the changes of the completed NT-1. The G04 was finished with the NT-1 testing but it’s unknown what happened after it.

beam rifle, powered by rechargeable energy cap

After many experiments and testing of the RX-78 Gundam testbed units, the engineers rollout the final mass-production mobile suit based on the Gundam prototypes; the RGM-79 GM. The GM is a mass-produced version of the Gundam. The differences between the Gundam and the GM is that the GM is the Gundam without the expensive equipment and a simipled version of the frame. even though the thruster generator has been downgraded, four thrusters on its back(similar to the RX-78-2 Gundam) help to push the GM close to the Gundams. It includes a variety of weapons and uses only titanium alloy. The GMs would be used for the final battle of the war years after that.

After OZ rose into power and Zechs Merquize left OZ and joined his sister and Heero. Treize’s last objective into winning the war with the U.S. was to attack New York with a powerful nuclear bomb in the atmosphere so OZ could take over the United States. When the final battle began, Treize used a new version of the Tallgeese called the Tallgeese II. While the Tallgeese II was similar to the original, its appearance was altered a little. It was given a noticeable blue and white color scheme and a Gundam face on its head. The reason is probably because if the U.S. had the Gundam as its symbol and reason for winning the war, then OZ would have it to win the final battle. Treize used this mobile suit only on the final battle and was destroyed when it fought the original Tallgeese.

Mobile Weapons: Ships, Fighters, etc. (In order of appearance)

****************************

Fighters:

****************************

Toriares

Unit type: fighter

Armament: vulcan gun x 2

This is the Toriares fighter jet. It was developed probably arounded the 2050’s. This fighter jet was the mainstay of not only the United States military but every military around the world. It was a small, light jet that made it very fast. When it first came out, the reason why it didn’t have missiles was because the engineers of these fighters made state-of-the-art armor piercing bullets. While it seemed okay terrorists from the “Principality of Zeon” found these bullets and used them on their forces during the One-Year War of 2065. Because of that, these bullets weren’t used after the war and every single one of these bullets were destroyed after they got every single one of them. However during this time, the Toriares was redesigned so missiles can be attached to the fighter’s frame.

The Toriares were so good in the war against the Zeons that it stayed in use for several years until the war against the Revolutionarys that started in 2078 that outmatched the Toriares with the newer, smaller and lighter fighter jet called the Dopps. The Dopp fighters outmatched the in Toriares every way which is why several and several of these Toriares were being destroyed in every battle. Being desperate, the new program called the “The Mobile Suit “MS” Project” was created to build new robotic weapons called mobile suits. Until the project was finished, the Toriares stayed in use until the pilots at the frontlines were given the pre-production model RX-79(G) Gundam Ground Type(s). after many success with mobile suits, mobile suits were in and fighters were out. Because of that the Toriares were turned to scrap.

****************************

Dopp

Unit type: fighter

Overall length: 9.2 meters

Wingspan: 12.1 meters

Full weight: 5.2 tons

Armament: 6-tube missile launcher x 2, 20 mm vulcan gun x 2

Before the war with the Revolutionarys, everyone thought that there weapons weren’t be affective against the Allies’ weapons. But when the attack at Los Angles started, everybody wasa wrong. The Revolutionarys fighter jet that was the mainstay of their forces before mobile suits came out was the Dopp. The Dopp was a lighter, smaller, more faster version of the U.S. Military’s Toriares fighter jets. With everything this fighter jet needed, the battle ended when dozens of nuclear bombs turning Los Angles into the biggest man-made crater in history. The Revolutionarys won the battle, but not the war. The Revolutionarys didn’t win even if their enemy couldn’t win at all.

In the stalemate that followed, the U.S. Military started the “MS” Project. When the Revolutionarys found out about it, they made sure every available Dopp was used to weaken the base’s forces so that every soldier could steal the production-model ZMS-01F Zaku II s. After the battle, there were many demands to use the Zaku Mobile Suits instead of the Dopps. Because of this the first half of the stolen Zaku IIs were sent to the frontlines while the other half was used to counter the Willgem’s Mobile Suits including the Gundam. There were many who still wanted to use the Dopps but that didn’t last for long. Like the Toriares, the Dopps were turned to scrap.

Unit type: fighter for use in Core Block System of RX-78-2 Gundam

Manufacturer: Hervic Company for United States Military Forces “MS” Project

Operator: United States Military Forces “MS” Project/ United Starts (Allied) MS Forces

First deployment: 2079

Accommodation: pilot only, in standard canopy-style cockpit

Dimensions: overall length 8.6 meters; overall height 3.2 meters

Wingspan: 6.8 meters

Weight: empty weight unknown; max gross 8.9 metric tons

Propulsion: 6 x jet/rocket thruster: maximum speed rated at Mach 4.8

Fixed armaments: 4 x 2-barrel 25 mm vulcan gun; 2 x missile launcher, 4 rounds per launcher

The FF-X7 Core Fighter was an integral part of the United States “MS” Project, forming an interchangeable cockpit block for the RX-78-2 Gundam. Developed by the Hervic Company, the Core Fighter’s primary purpose was to protect the data from the learning computer system of the

Gundam, serving as an escape vehicle in the advent of the mobile suit being disable or destroyed. The Core Fighter was armed to protect its data and pilot, with four 25 mm machine guns mounted in the nose, and two small missile launchers mounted on the fuselage. After so much time and development for the transformation concept and after so much money used to make it and basically how much it will cost to make the production-model, the Core Fighter would only be made once for the RX-78-2 Gundam. But the Core Fighter concept would never be used ever again.

The Gaw is used by the Revolutionarys during the war. Probably made in 2077, the huge plane has enough power to fly all over the world and enough strength to carry loads and loads of mobile suits almost over 60 units! The Gaw is used throughout the war but after the war’s end, it’s possible that these giant planes were destroyed.

Willgem

Unit type: battleship

This warship (or spaceship from the words of a lot of soldiers that reminded them of old sci-fi films) was designed during the “MS” Project namely to carry mobile suit weapons. It was originally sent to the Torrington Base to send the ZMS-01F Zaku IIs to the frontlines. But after the base was attacked and the Zakus were stolen, the Willgem arrived to only carry the last three remaining mobile suit prototypes; the MSP-X01 Zaku Prototype, MSP-X02 Zaku Custom, and the MSP-X03

Gundam. The ship’s first mission was to find and destroy all the Zaku IIs. Then it was sent to cripple the enemy’s defenses prior to “Operation Take-Down”.

After the news that OZ came into power, the crew of the Willgem switched to the new warship (or spaceship) Argama and a new crew was assigned for the Willgem led by General Revil. The Willgem was used in “Operation Endgame” After the destruction of the Peacemilluion, the last of OZ’ forces attacked the Willgem and General Revil was killed as the Willgem went off course and crashed onto the Atlantic. After the war’s end, the Willgem was remembered as the first MS carrier in history that spawn many others.

****************************

Transport Ship

The Transport Ship was another kind of transport besides the Medea. The feature of this one was that it had the Hover system that was used on the Willgem. Only a couple were made and after the attack on one of them that showed that these things were weak, everybody went back to the Medeas and the Transport ships were never used again.

****************************

Medea

Unit type: transport plane

Overall length: 45 meters

Wingspan: 67.7 meters

Full weight: 245 tons

Cargo capacity: 160 tons

Armament: 2-barrel anti-air machinegun x 2

The Medea was built specifically for transporting people and supplies. Built in the early 2070’s, the medea was pretty good for transporting supplies and such in heavy, and enemy controlled areas. Since it’s supply hanger was so big, it was used to transport mobile suits as well. The Medeas were used throughout the war. At this time, it’s unknown if these planes are still in use after the war.

****************************

Gallop

The Gallop was built shortly after the Willgem. It’s primary purpose was ground assault and sending mobile suits out to protect it in a mission or operation. The Gallop was first used by Amuro Ray when he acted as captain to transport his RX-78-3 Gundam G-3, Heero’s RX-78-2 Gudnam G-2 and Relena’s rebuilt RX-78 Gundam from the Willgem to Tibet where “Operation Takedown was going to take place. This and several Gallops served in that battle and “Operation Endgame”. It’s unknown at this time if the Gallop(s) are still in use after the war ended in spring 2079.

****************************

Peacemillion

The huge battleship was built and operated by OZ. As it’s flagship, it’s first and probably last mission was to attack New York using nuclear weapons. The Peacemillion was protected by Gaws and Gelgoog Marines that were stationed on top of it. It was so large outside and inside because it’s hovering and engines on its back that it needed a lot of power to run everything. Also, the inner side of it was so huge that it could hold and staion several mobile suits in case a base or two was destroyed. Many mobile suits that were trying to destroy the Peacemillion. But the only ones that could cripple it was the RX-78-3 Gundam G-3 and the RX-78/C.A. Gundam Ace that were fighting inside and their destruction of their reactors destroyed the right wing of the ship, forcing it the fall from its level. The peacemillion was attempting to crash onto New York but thanks to the RX-78Nt-1 Gundam NT-1, the ships from the U.S. Military destroyed the Peacemillion and the ship was destroyed before it could ever reach New York. After that, OZ was defeated and the War ended.

****************************

Argama

When the willgem was completed, it proved that these spaceship looking vehicles could be built. But after the Zaku IIs were stolen, a problem occurred. Since the willgem wasn’t built for MS combat, a company was hired to build a new carrier to replace the Willgem. That was the Argama. The Argama was like the willgem but designed for MS combat, equipped with Mega Particle Cannons, and its MS launchers was to be launched from the front instead of the side. Since the Argama wasn’t seen in a lot of action, it’s unknown what else the Argama had. The Argama was used to pick up the Gundam NT-1 and fight in “Operation Endgame”. After the war, the argama stayed in use for many years.

Code name: Ball

Unit type: trainee use/support mobile pod

Manufacturer: United States Military Forces

Operator: United States Military Forces

Rollout: 2078

First deployment: 2078

Accommodation: pilot only, in standard cockpit in body

Dimensions: overall height 12.8 meters

Weight: empty 17.2 metric tons; max gross 25.0 metric tons

Powerplant: Nuclear type ultracompact fusion reactor, output rated at 400 kW

Propulsion: rocket thrusters: 24000 kg total

Performance: maximum thruster acceleration 0.96 G

Equipment and design features: sensors, range 4000 meters

Fixed armaments: 180 mm recoilless cannon, mounted on body

When Mobile Suits were being built, pilots had to be train to handle these new machines since fighters and mobile suits were very, very different. The RB-79 Ball mobile pod units were designed for this purpose. While it was basically a pod than a mobile suit, it had everything to teach trainees about mobile suits. The ball had hands to show trainees how to use them for anything including firing weapons. The moving og the Ball showed the difference in MS controls and plane controls. Since it hovered, it showed that mobile suits can stay in the air for some time without the use of wings or such.

The ball wasn’t use for combat purposes as seen when several Ball units were used to attack invading Zaku units that were about to attack the base where the Ground Gundams were delivered. The ball stayed in use but not in the war. The ball was redesign to handle maintenance to water operations as seen when its used to recover the destroyed Gundam NT-1 from the bottom of the Atlantic.
