"The Forgotten War"
Prologue The year is After Colony 203. The Earth/Space Federation, under leadership of
Heero Yuy, has managed to keep peace between Earth and the Colonies. This new era has not
been led out of total pacifism, nor of military dominance. Revolts and revolutionaries
have attempted to overtake colonies and bases, yet these attempts have been futile with
protection of the five Gundams. Other groups of soldiers have not taken sides, and fight
only those whom they come across. Sven and Hile guide such people. Both Sven and Hile were
top graduates of notable academies, and have access to several military files. With this
access, they came across files for two old advanced mobile suits. They then gathered the
resources to build such suits. They modified the designs to fit their style and
incorporated their ideas to make two suits that, together, may be unstoppableâ¦
Chapter I It is an early autumn morning on Earth. Sven and Hile are in a small, private
courtyard just outside of their villa. Their villa overlooks a large vineyard and a small
lake. They are both dressed casual and are enjoying relaxation for once. Sven is a fairly
large young adult around 19 years old. He has dark brown hair and equally dark eyes. He
has a darker tone of skin color. Sven, on the other hand, is taller and not as largely
built. He has blonde hair and icy blue eyes. They sit and watch the sun rise over the
mountains not a mile away. "What beauty. You'll never see that anywhere else on
Earth," Sven says while smiling. "True," Hile replies. They sit and rest
for awhile longer. A knock on the door that leads to the courtyard. Aledre walks out.
Aledre has light brown hair and is fairly attractive. She has perfect blue eyes that seem
draw you in. "Should I wake the soldiers?" Aledre asks. "Yeah. Thank you
Aledre," Sven replies. "It shall be done," Aledre says as she walks back
inside of the villa. "It's about 7:00, isn't it?" Sven asks. "I believe so.
Let us get ready for the day at hand," Hile answers. They reluctantly get up from
their chairs and head into their villa. Later in the morning, Sven and Hile, both in more
formal attire, greet their small band of soldiers in the courtyard. "All troops
accounted for," Aledre addresses them saluted. "As you were," Hile replies.
He then addresses his troops, "I am proud of all your hard work and determination you
have put into your training. I believe that all of you are now prepared for the new models
that we have designed." Hile walks toward a projector and turns it on. All turn and
face the screen. "As you can see here, our new model comes equipped with a large
modified beam rifle, 5 planet defensors, two vulcan guns, and a beam saber. We have
produced 400 of these suits. This new model will be named the Scorpio. As you may have
noticed, this leaves out some 50 soldiers. We have created special suits for recon,
sniping, and for the elite's of the class. The titles for these suits will be named at a
later date." A new picture appears on the screen. Hile continues, "The Recon
suit comes equipped with a high-power camera, and one of our modified beam rifles. The
sniper suit comes with a larger and longer beam rifle that is meant for long distances,
and a beam saber. The remaining suits have been awarded only to those pilots that we have
feltâ¦.qualified for it. Each one is different, and will be explained at a later
time to the pilots. The suit that you will be piloting had been posted in the barracks.
Any questions should be directed to the officers in your wing of the barracks." Hile
finishes. He walks over the Sven and sits down next to him. Sven stands and stands in
front of the crowd. Sven announces to the crowd, "I have just received word that more
and more people are revolting the Earth/Colony Federation's power. It's time for a
decision. We must take a side. If we stand as a sole power, we have little chance against
the powers of today. There will be a vote of all soldiers and officers, because this
decision will affect everyone. Also, one of the Earth/Colony Federation's Gundams has been
spotted near by. If this gundam is to take aggressive actions, we will have no choice but
to defend ourselves. No matter the outcome, we will not take sides for a few days so that
you may get accustomed to your new suits. There will be a meeting at 1:00 PM for the
soldiers that have received special suits. Dismissed." There is a large commotion
after the two speeches. Soldiers rushed to the barracks to find out the suit the have been
awarded. Mean while, Sven and Hile head into their villa to discus matters. They walk down
a long hallway and enter a private room. "Well, I hope we're not making a
mistake," Hile addresses Sven. "What do you mean?" Sven replies.
"Taking sides. We have always been independent when it comes to our forces. I hope
that our decision does not end up destroying us." "I see your point, but what
choice do we have? Our chances our in favor of joining a larger power." "That is
true, but they may turn on us. We must expect this or we may be destroyed."
"Yes, so, you do agree with allying ourselves?" "Yes, I think our chances
are greater allying with the Earth/Space fed myself. It may be more beneficial in the long
run. Plus, they have the five confirmed gundams." "We do not know that the
rebels do or do not have a gundam. They may be constructing or hiding a considerable
force. We must take all chances into consideration." "I agree. We shall trust
our soldiers to make the right decision." "Yes, if we do not go along with their
choice, they may loose confidence in themselves." "Indeed. Let us go get
something to drink." With that done, they head for the kitchen and grab what
beverages they can find. They then go and sit quietly on the balcony for awhile until it
is time to tell the lucky pilots of their new suits. When the time does come, Sven and
Hile, along with the six soldiers are in a room to the back of the villa. Sven starts the
meeting, "You all are here because you have been chosen out of all the soldiers to
pilot special mobile suits created be us. There are six of you and three different models,
which means that two people will have the same type of suit. The first model comes
equipped with a powerful beam cannon, two head Vulcan's, and a beam sword. Yuro Huyo and
Dersia Barlloa will be piloting this suit. The second model comes equipped with two double
grenade launchers, a grenade launcher cartridge, a modified beam rifle, and a beam sword.
Soria Lighter and Dyrik Holla will be piloting this model. The third and final model comes
equipped with fifteen planet defensors, a buster shield, and duel beam sabers. Dayuu Nuyo
and Fellin Guril will be the pilots of this model. Names of these suits have not been
confirmed." Sven then sits down and Hile takes his place. "You will be split
into two groups. One of each of the models will be in each of these groups. Use the third
models planet defensors to everyone's advantage, by placing them in front of friendly
suits. Do not worry about losing defense your self. The third model had plenty enough
speed and firepower to be a formidable foe. Each of the suits has enough power to fend for
themselves, but work together for we shall, more than likely, be outnumbered greatly. Your
suit will be given to you at a later date to train with. Dismissed." The soldiers all
stand and leave to the barracks. Only Sven and Hile are left behind. "That went
pretty well wouldn't you say?" Sven asked. "Yes, I believe that the pilots are
ready and deserve the new suits. I can only hope that they are used for the correct
forces," Hile responded. "Speaking of that, we should go and check the
results." "Yes, let us go now." The two leave the room and head for the
barracks to collect the results of the vote. Once they arrive inside the barracks, some of
the soldiers greet the two young men. Sven and Hile then head for the officers quarters
inside the barracks. They enter the room and are met by most of the officers sitting at a
table. Sven and Hile sit at the head of the table. "The results?" Hile
questions. "It was unanimous that we should ally ourselves with the Earth/Space
Federation for the time being. There were few votes of the other," one of the higher
ranked officers reported. Sven addresses the group, "Thank you. I guess that answers
that part of the plan. We should put a transmission through the Earth HQ." The two
stand up, along with the rest of the officers, and head out. Sven and Hile head to the
transmission room where Aledre meets them. "Welcome sirs. We have prepared the
transmission to go through the Earth HQ. We are ready when you are," Aledre
presented. "Thank you again Aledre. We are now ready for contact," Sven says and
smiles. Within seconds, a male figure, around twenty years old appears on the screen. He
is dressed casual, as are Sven and Hile. "Greetings, I am Sven Nuuyo. This man and
myself are in charge of a small band of soldiers. We would be quite pleased if you would
allow us to ally with you and fight for peace," Sven says calmly. "Why should I
ally my self with you?" the man questions. "It would be beneficial for the both
of us. I believe that with the rebels numbers growing and growing, it may help you to have
some 500 extra troops, including the two of us," Hile replies. "It seems that
you are sure of yourselves that your soldiers are skilled enough to take on enemy
soldiers, maybe several. But I will need proof. I will deploy 1,000 suits to your
location. If you defeat them and still have a large enough force, you will have proved
your point and we will allow you to become a part of us," the dark bold figure says,
now smiling. "It shall be done, thank you," Hile responds and the transmission
closes. "1,000 soldiers? That should be easy enough," Sven adds, laughing to
himself. "We can not be sure what type of suit or suits they will be sending. We
should send out our new sniping and recon suits as sentry to inform us of their arrival.
We should prepare the troops immediately," Hile responds. Chapter II The new sniper
suits were sent out immediately, followed by the recon suits. The rest of the soldiers
were sent directly to the large training grounds to get accustomed to their newly acquired
suits. Meanwhile, Sven and Hile sit on the balcony and rest a short time before they, too,
must train with their suits. It was all to short a time before Aledre informed them that
it was the time requested that they should head to their private training area.
"Thank you Aledre. We will be there shortly," Sven replies. The two young men
slowly stand and head through the villa to the walk way to the hangar. But they head down
a set of stairs to a wall. Hile presses a button that blends perfectly with the beautiful
picture hanging on the wall. A small door slides open to the left of them, and the men
head down the hall and enter a small hangar, which has only two occupants. The modified
suits rest at a corner of the hangar. The suits are a modified Murcerius and Vayeate. The
modified Murcerius has a slightly orange made of red paint. Its armaments include 14
Planet defensors, a 5-tube grenade launcher, two grenade launcher cartridges, and a beam
sword. The Vayeate has a dark shade of blue as its paint. Its armament is a sole hyper
beam cannon. The Vayeate has had extra boosters added on to it to make up for the lost
speed of the hyper beam cannon. "They're even more magnificent than I thought,"
Sven says awed. The two young men are then met by Aledre. "I hope you find your suits
to be satisfactory to your requests. If there are any errors, they shall be fixed
immediately," Aledre informs them. "I would guess you would like to try piloting
them now?" "Yes, thank you. I'm sure they will doâ¦..nicely," Hile
says slightly grinning. They then walk across the hangar to the location of the suits.
Hile climbs aboard the Murcerius while Sven gets in the Vayeate. The hangar doors open,
which from the outside appear to be the side of a hill. The two suits race out of the
hangar and stop in the middle of the private training field. "Aledre, please activate
the Mobile Dummies and defenses," Hile commands. "It will be done," Aledre
says. She presses a few buttons and with in seconds, a small group of suits enter from a
small hill not 500 feet away. Earth is turned over in various places to reveal small
turrets. The small group of mobile suits gather in, somewhat, a formation. "We're
ready Aledre," Sven informs Aledre. "Let the battle commence," Aledre
responds. She presses a few buttons that activate the suits and turrets. Hile starts
directly by sending 6 planet defensors to guard the Vayeate from fire. The Vayeate fires
its hyper beam cannon at the dummies and take out the majority of them. Mean while, the
Murcerius fires a few grenades which quickly dispose of the remaining dummies. He then
fires grenades at the remaining defenses. Within a matter of seconds, all obstacles were
destroyed by the two suits. "Wow, better then I thought, eh Hile?" Sven asks.
"Quite better. I believe that we are ready for the enemy, but what of our soldiers?
We must check on them. We would move plenty fast in our suits." Hile replies. The two
mobile suits race around the hill to see dummies and turrets being annihilated. Spread out
across the field are several Scorpio. The Special suits stand out among the rest of the
Scorpio. Massive firepower erupt from their weapons that pour down upon the dummies.
Turrets are met by grenades and beam cannon. All of this with precise accuracy. A few
turret shots impact any suit at all, all being protected from the hail of bullets by their
planet defensors. "I believe that they are ready," Hile states boldly, clearly
impressed. "True," Sven replies. "You have doubts?" Hile questions,
surprised. "No, its not our soldiers I'm worried about. It's the enemy I pity."
Chapter III After the day of training, most of the soldiers are out in the courtyard
having beverages or just talking. The sun is beginning to set, and the air is cooling down
from the day's mighty heat. Few soldiers are keeping sentry, and most soldiers feel ready
for the Earth/Space Federation troops. During this time, Hile and Sven enjoy their evening
sitting on a couch watching TV. "What a day. I'm surprised at our suit's
capabilities. Even more of the other suits we deigned," Sven says. "Yes, but
this training can not simulate actual combat. We soon shall see how they fare in actual
combat," Hile replies. His arms are crossed, and seems to be thinking deeply.
"You don't think they are ready?" Sven asks. "I believe that they should
have had more time to train. Our special suits seem to be able to handle them selves. I
vote that when the ESF troops arrive, we stay back and allow the soldiers to fight by
themselves. We only interfere if the need should come," Hile adds. He still seems as
though in deep thought. "That may not be a bad idea. It would give them a chance to
prove to themselves and us that they can fight. These troops the ESF are sending may help
us after all," Sven says, laying back in his seat. "We should split the main
soldiers into two groups, one group with each of the special teams. We will then see how
well we chose our pilots. This battle should tell us exactly how well we trained and
prepared our soldiers," Hile says, now looking satisfied. "I agree. I believe I
am going to go sleep now. It's been a long day and we should train more tomorrow,"
Sven says, standing and beginning to walk to his quarters. "Good night, my
friend," Hile replies. Hile remains sitting, thinking. Sven walks down the hall and
enters his room. Later that night, not 2 hours from when he went to sleep, Hile rushes
into Sven's room without knocking. "They attack. More than we expected. Come, to the
hangar. I fear they are going to need us. Earlier, I informed the pilot's of the special
suits of our plan, so they are ready," Hile says very quickly. They are now running
down the hall. Hile continues, "We have already sent the two groups of soldiers and
there should be conflict already." They rush down the stairway to see the hidden door
open and Aledre standing next to it. "Your suits have been prepared. I have the
battle on the main visual in the hangar. The battle is taking place right above us, so
when you are ready, you can be in the battle. Minimal casualties have occurred on our side
already. It seems that they have sent suits that are almost equal to our Scorpio,"
Aledre informs them. They have all entered the hangar and Aledre closes the door. All look
at the battle. Suddenly, a very large blast comes from the mountaintop. The blast engulfs
and destroys several Scorpio. "We have no suits out there with that firepower. They
must have some advanced suits," Sven says, very surprised. "This may not be the
ESF troops. I do not believe they would send such soldiers to attack us, they could not
afford it. I believe these are rebel suits," Hile says, clearly not happy about the
situation, but continues to keep his face showing no emotions. The others see this and nod
in agreement. "We must enter the battle now," Hile says, now starting towards
his suit. "Yes, let us now go," Sven agrees, now running to his own suit.
"We must go for the suit on the cliff first. We cannot take those kind of
casualties," Hile says, now entering his cockpit. "The fools, do they really
think they can defeat us?" a strange figure is seen inside a cockpit. He looks over
the battle from a cliff. A deep voice comes from the cockpit, "My name is Alarro Nio.
I represent the Dark Fleet. I will defeat these Earth soldiers with my invincible Gundam.
Now feel my wrath!" His Black gundam leaps off the cliff with two beam swords drawn.
He charges for some of the Scorpio. "You think you an stop me with that?" Alarro
says, laughing in his cockpit. Suddenly, Alarro and his Gundam are thrust forward from an
explosion. His turns to see three suits in a formation, charging at him. One of these
suits had a grenade launcher aimed at him. The barrel is smoking from the recent fire.
"What is this? I didn't expect anything here to be a challenge," Alarro says
within his cockpit. His expression shows surprise, but not fear. Five planet defensors
hover in front of each of the suits. "This shouldn't be too hard," Alarro says.
He has somewhat a grin on his face. He lifts his buster rifle and fire at one of the
suits. The orange suit easily dodges this feat and fires its own shot with a beam cannon.
The shot barely misses the surprised Alarro. Suddenly, a face appears on Alarro's screen.
It is one of his officers in reserve. "Sir! We are being attacked by what seems to be
ESF soldiers. There are well over 1,000 troops. Both sides are taking heavy
casualties," The scared soldier says. "How did they get reinforcements so
quickly? This is not possible. These people are much stronger than first thought,"
Alarro says. Alarro opens fire with his vulcans, which connects with one of the suits
chest and head region, knocking out his visual display. "I'm doing down," the
pilot says with in the cockpit. The other two suits rush to catch him before he hits the
ground. They manage to stop him. They look up and the Vayeate and Murcerius flying up
towards the Dark Gundam. "Take him in our hangar for repairs, then return to the
battlefield. We will handle the Dark Suit," Sven orders. "I'll start the
party," Sven adds. With that said, he fires his hyper beam cannon at the Gundam. This
takes Alarro by complete surprise. "What theâ¦" Alarro says silently. He
barely manages to dodge the fire. Directly after he dodges that feat, he is hit with
several grenades fired from the Murcerius. The grenades do some damage but doesn't stop
the gundam. "What power. Let's see how the handle this," Alarro says, making a
half grin. He fires his last buster rifle shot at the Vayeate. The Murcerius quickly moves
several planet defensors in front of the Vayeate, which blocks the shot. "This can't
be! They blocked that shot easily," Alarro yells. The Vayeate lifts it's hyper beam
cannon once more, and fires upon the Gundam. The Gundam misses most of the shot, but it
takes one of its arms off. "There is no other choice. Retreat! Dark Fleet
retreat!" Alarro yells. His gundam flies off followed by the remains of his soldiers.
"This will not be the last time you see us!" Alarro says as he flies off.
"Aledre, the casualties?" Hile asks. "We lost 21 Soldiers. Damages done to
several more," Aledre says. There is a slight a sense of sadness is her voice.
"That was not the ESF troops. I wonder what happened to them?" Sven says. Just
then several more troops fly over the mountaintop. "I hope that answers your
question," Hile replies
